RJ Shin

RJ Shin – AREMA Chapter President

I am a fourth-year mechanical engineering student, and my interests are within the rail industry. So far I have gotten internships within the rail industry through Sharma & Associates Inc. and Progress Rail. I am blessed and humbled to lead this club so that other students can be familiar with the rail industry. In my freetime I love to play sports, video games, draw, keep myself up-to-date in the railroad industry, and trainspotting (I am somewhat of a foamer, not surprised).

George Ciuca – AREMA Chapter Marketing Director

I’m a senior mechanical engineering student at UIC. Most of my time with student orgs has gone toward outreach, getting our work in front of the community and getting more people excited about engineering. I’m excited to bring that same energy to AREMA this year, helping plan events and get the word out about what the rail industry has to offer.
